MCKINNEY, Texas — No. 19-ranked Prosper and No. 24-ranked McKinney go head-to-head in a battle for the District 5-6A title at 7 p.m. Thursday in McKinney.

Watch the steam live below:

Prosper (6-0, 8-1) made their mark early in the season with a 31-28 home victory over Denton Guyer on Sept. 15. The Eagles are riding a six-game winning streak -- all against district opponents -- that includes narrow victories over Prosper Rock Hill and Allen. Dual-threat quarterback Nathan TenBarge has been stellar under center, accounting for nearly 2,000 yards of total offense and 24 touchdowns, while running back Leo Anguiano has paced the ground game with 10 TDs.

McKinney (5-1, 8-1) bounced back from their only district loss of the season to Allen on October 13 by defeating Prosper Rock Hill and Denton Guyer in back-to-back weeks. The Lions are averaging nearly 32 points per game thanks to a dynamic ground game. Godspower Nwawuihe and Jeremiah Daoud split time at the quarterback position, while safety Xavier Filsaime anchors a stout defensive unit.
