The non-emergency phone line in Denton is operational once again, officials said by 7:30 a.m. Sunday.
It had not been not working as of 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
Earlier in the evening, 911 wasn't working, but it has since been restored, officials said.
There are two alternate phone numbers available for residents should they encounter any issues: 940-349-7491 or 940-349-7492.
It's unclear what caused the outage, but officials said they will monitor the lines and keep the public updated.
