Oops: Another misspelled sign spotted at State Fair of Texas

This isn't the first typo at the 2023 State Fair. When the fair opened last month, visitors were welcomed by a "We're glad your here!" sign.

DALLAS — Here's hoping Little Big Tex doesn't take the fall for this one.

Another misspelled sign has surfaced at the State Fair of Texas, and this one involves the Dallas Police Department.

Or is it the Dallas Police Deptartment

Anyways, that's how it's spelled on a sign that appears to point in the direction of the department's mounted horses at the fair this year.

This isn't the first typo we've seen at the 2023 version of the fair. When the fair opened last month, visitors were welcomed by a "We're glad your here!" sign

Clearly, they mean "you're."

The sign was quickly fixed and replaced by the fair, which, to their credit, had fun with the typo. In a social media posting, the fair joked, "This is what happens when we let Little Big Tex proofread, but we're so glad YOU'RE here!" 

Little Big Tex, if you didn't know, is the smaller (hence, little) mascot version of the iconic Big Tex.

No word yet from the fair if Little Big Tex is responsible for the "deptartment" gaffe -- we've reached out to both the fair and the Dallas Police Department for comment. But, we have to admit, it must be tough to type with those hands of his:
