GRAPEVINE, Texas — Spring break is right around the corner and what better way to spend it than doing chores?
“These aren’t the type of chores that your parents are forcing you to do at home,” said Kelly Schwartz, general manager at Meow Wolf Grapevine. “These are fun chores.”
Fun chores?
“The Meow Wolf Grapevine spring break chore list comprises of a bunch of fun activities and scavenger hunt-like portals that you have to go through,” Schwartz said.
The immersive art experience, Meow Wolf, is cleaning house.
Well, technically, YOU'RE cleaning house.
“Be curious, explore, find the chores,” Schwartz said.
From March 7-17th, Meow Wolf is asking guests to do some "spring cleaning," giving them a list of five chores to complete, although a better description would be ‘scavenger hunt.’
While exploring the Meow Wolf experience, guests will have to try and find these chores and complete them during their visit.
Chores include things like finding matching pairs of socks, however, guests will race against each other to see who can finish first.
There’s also a chance to pick up a broom, but instead of sweeping, guests can play broom hockey.
“Chores should always be as fun as the ones we’re going to do at Meow Wolf Grapevine this spring break,” Schwartz said.
Of course, guests are welcome to crawl, climb and explore every inch of Meow Wolf without doing chores, but they might regret it.
“In the end, like any good parent, we are going to give you a reward for completing your chores,” Schwartz said.
