SOUTHLAKE, Texas — Updated at 10:37 p.m. with more information from officials.
Two eastbound lanes of Highway 114 were closed near White Chapel Road in Southlake Sunday after a car explosion and a grass fire happened in the area Sunday afternoon.
The City of Southlake Department of Public Safety asked drivers to avoid the area while first responders worked.
No injuries were reported, Southlake DPS said.
