ELLIS COUNTY, Texas — One person died Thursday morning in a crash on northbound lanes of Interstate 45 near Ennis, according to Ennis police.
Ennis PD told WFAA that the accident happened at approximately 6 a.m. Thursday on the interstate near Creedville Road.
TxDOT cameras showed traffic being diverted off of the interstate on Thursday morning.
Ennis police said two 18-wheelers and one passenger vehicle were involved in the crash. One person, who police said was not local to Ennis, was pronounced dead at the scene.
