DALLAS — Dallas Police are investigating a shooting that killed a woman early Saturday morning.
According to the Dallas Police Department, officers responded at about 5:55 a.m. to reports of a shooting in the 4300 block of Colonial Avenue in southern Dallas.
Upon arriving at the scene, police said, officers determined that a woman had been shot. Dallas Fire Rescue also responded to the scene, police said, and determined that the woman was dead.
DPD did not provide any other additional details except to say that its investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
