DALLAS — Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is postponing repairs planned in Dallas’ Central Business District this weekend to help ensure riders are able to get to events in the area.

The Dallas Mavericks’ playoff Game 6 against the Los Angeles Clippers and the Dallas Stars' playoff Game 6 against the Las Vegas Golden Knights are set for Friday. Bad Bunny is set to perform at the American Airlines Center May 4, and his other show originally planned for Friday, May 3, was moved up to Thursday, May 2 because of the Mavs-Clippers game.

DART had planned to perform maintenance work on its high-voltage power source, known as re-tensioning, from May 3 to 6.

During the repairs, DART planned to operate a single train in both directions, serving all stations between Pearl/Arts District and West End, during the repairs.

DART says it’s looking into alternative dates for the repairs. For more information, visit DART’s website.
