Monday morning commute

While it won't be perfect across North Texas and the Dallas-Fort Worth area in particular, major weather-related problems are not expected. Scattered light rain will cause slowdowns in spots, but the lack of heavy rain and anything severe should keep significant traffic impacts at bay.

Rest of the day

The highest coverage of rain on Monday will be to the southeast of the metroplex. This is also where any heavier rain will fall. A reminder: no severe weather is in the forecast. With that being said, some low-lying areas could see isolated flooding where totals could reach an additional 3".
