DFW Weather: Severe threat has ended, turning dry and cooler by Tuesday morning

Severe storms have cleared out of North Texas. Here's what the rest of the week looks like.

DFW thunderstorms

Thunderstorms have moved out of DFW. The severe threat has ended. Some lingering rain may occur into the overnight, but most places will be dry.

14-day forecast

Behind Monday's storms, temps will be cooler for the middle part of next week. Some days will feature lows in the 40s again. After that, temps warm and the pattern turns a bit unsettled by next weekend into the following week. So... that means for the Solar Eclipse, which is a week away, the forecast could feature clouds and possible some rain. We'll keep you posted!
