Rain chances stay low for now, but look higher this weekend.

Here's a look at the forecast this week!

Quick Facts:

  • Above normal temps all week long
  • Clouds return for the second half of the week
  • Some rain chances Fri, better rain chances this weekend

Rest of the workweek

Warmest temps of the week will arrive Thursday and Friday with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s for most.

Winds will continue to be gusty from the south through Friday as well. Thursday will start off cloudy, but some clearing is possible during the day, especially across western North Texas. Friday will be cloudy throughout the day but most of the area will still reach the upper 60s to low 70s. The breezy south winds keep pollen levels high through Friday.

Changes arrive this weekend as a cold front moves in and drops temps. Nothing overly cold at this point, but back to below normal Sunday into next week.

Upcoming rain chances

Rain chances are fairly low the rest of the workweek, but not completely zero. Thursday afternoon could feature some passing showers mainly across eastern North Texas.

Friday looks to start off mostly dry, but there could be a little drizzle around the area. Some scattered showers and storms will then be possible Friday evening into Friday night, mainly southeast of DFW.

Then the weekend looks to bring a round or two of rain to the area as well. Showers or even some storms are possible Saturday. Looks like those chances will be best in the morning with a lower rain coverage Saturday afternoon and evening.

Then another round of rain is possible during the day on Sunday. Right now, best chances may once again be in the morning, but lingering rain is possible into the afternoon and evening.
