Are you ready North Texas? A real cold front is finally moving in

The highs will actually fall BELOW normal for once, and we’ll wake up to some mornings next week in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

DALLAS — Are you ready for a REAL cold front!? No, not the kind we’re used to that slightly cools us down for 10 minutes before the blast furnace kicks on again.

Sunday night brings North Texas the real deal!

After the warmest and driest September on record, October hasn’t brought us much relief.

A very weak cold front brings the area scattered showers Friday with mostly cloudy skies.

The clouds will keep highs in the upper 80s.

This will be the first high temperature in the 80s since September 19. That 82° high on the 19 was the ONLY 80° high during the entire month of September.

After a warm and humid weekend, the stronger cold front will slide through the area with scattered showers and storms Sunday night into early Monday.

The highs will actually fall BELOW normal for once, and we’ll wake up to some mornings next week in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

This is what you’ve been waiting for North Texas. ENJOY IT!
