DALLAS — Updated 4:10am Wednesday with the latest forecast.
Get your heavy coats back out.
A blast of cold air has arrived in North Texas, and you will really feel it early Wednesday morning as you head out for work or school.
There's even a chance for a flurry or two!
But don't get your hopes up for a winter wonderland. Most places will just see some sprinkles (if anything) first thing Wednesday morning.
THE COLD
Winds will be gusting out of the northwest from 20 to 30 mph and this will make it feel more like the teens to lower 20s Wednesday morning.
The afternoon won't be much better either, with temperatures struggling to get out of the middle to upper 40s.
But if you add the wind? Well, it will only feel like the middle to upper 30s all day. So, make sure you bundle up and skip the picnic lunch on Wednesday.
How much does the wind impact temperature? Consider the projected temperatures and wind speeds into tomorrow.
If the temperature in Dallas is 38 tonight, 20 mph winds will make it feel closer to the mid-20s and 30 mph winds will push it into the low 20s.
