Buc-ee's is about to get a network of charging stations

Buc-ee’s now has 34 stores across Texas, as well as 12 locations in other states.

TEXAS, USA — Texas-based travel center Buc-ee's announced Wednesday it will be building a network of premium EV charging stations across North America. 

Buc-ee's is partnering with Mercedes-Benz to build charging hubs at the majority of its travel centers, starting with 31 by the end of 2024. Mercedes-Benz has already begun to work on charging hubs at numerous Buc-ee's locations across the country, with plans to open in key markets by end of this year, Buc-ee's officials said in a press release. 

Buc-ee’s now has 34 stores across Texas, as well as 12 locations in other states. Since beginning its multi-state expansion in 2019, Buc-ee’s has opened travel centers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Tennessee, and has broken ground on locations in Springfield, Mo., Hillsboro, Texas, Amarillo, Texas, Harrison County, Miss., Smiths Grove, Ky., Luling, Texas, and Johnstown, Colo..
