KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — All westbound lanes of traffic on I-20 in Kaufman County are closed Friday morning.
Texas Department of Transportation cameras showed shortly after 8 a.m. an 18-wheeler rolled onto its side and blocking all lanes of traffic.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the traffic backup was the result of a single-vehicle incident, and the driver and passenger have been transferred to Baylor Hospital in Dallas for treatment of their minor injuries.
Cameras showed 18-wheeler still in place at 9 a.m., but with the traffic behind it cleared.
DPS said it is diverting traffic onto F.M. 2965 as it continues to try clearing the truck from the road.
Shortly after 9:30 a.m., officials said they anticipate the highway's westbound lanes to be closed for another two hours.
