DALLAS, Texas — The direct connector ramp to Interstate 635 eastbound from US-75 will be closed off to drivers Thursday and Friday nights.

The IH-635 eastbound frontage road can still be accessed from Central Expressway by exiting Greenville Avenue (Exit 18A) and following signage to the eastbound IH-635 entrance ramp at Forest Lane.

The closure is part of ongoing construction for the IH-635 East Project.

The $1.74 billion construction initiative, led by the Texas Department of Transportation, is aimed at enhancing mobility, operations, and safety along Interstate IH-635 in Dallas County. The project covers an 11-mile stretch from North Dallas to Mesquite, starting just east of US-75 and ending at Interstate 30.
