Cowboys RB Tony Pollard reportedly signing with Tennessee Titans

Pollard played the 2023 season on a franchise tag for the Cowboys, rushing for 1,005 yards and six touchdowns on 252 carries.

DALLAS — Tony Pollard apparently isn't returning to Dallas.

The Cowboys running back who hit free agency this offseason has reportedly agreed to a three-year deal with the Tennessee Titans, according to multiple NFL insiders, including ESPN's Adam Schefter.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport also reported the deal.

Both Schefter and Rapoport were reporting the deal to be three years worth $24 million.

Pollard played the 2023 season on a franchise tag for the Cowboys, rushing for 1,005 yards and six touchdowns on 252 carries. He also caught 55 passes for 311 yards.

Pollard's exit from Dallas will free up some salary cap space for Dallas but also leave a hole in the running backs room, which now includes Rico Dowdle and Deuce Vaughn. The Cowboys have been rumored to have interest in signing Titans running back Derrick Henry, who also hit free agency.

Henry reportedly bought a home in the Dallas area, though it hasn't been clear whether that's linked to any rumored interest in signing with the Cowboys (or vice versa).

Pollard, 26, was drafted by the Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Memphis, where he played college ball in the city he grew up.
