DALLAS — Texas high school football playoffs are back, y'all!
The states top teams are squaring off for a chance to play at AT&T Stadium with a championship on the line. This week, UIL teams from 2A through 6A battled each other in the state quarterfinal round. Winners would advance to the state semifinal round next week, with games played from Dec. 7 through Dec. 9.
The 1A teams are one round ahead ... playing their semifinal matchups already. The 1A winners advance to the state championship round, which will take place on Dec. 13. The TAPPS 6-man and 11-man state championship games were played Friday night, and those scores are below.
