Kyler Murray's price to pick the MLB over the NFL is $15 million, according to "a source close to the situation," Channel 8's Mike Leslie tweeted Sunday afternoon.

VOTE IN OUR POLL: Do you think Kyler Murray should choose baseball or football?

"According to a source close to the situation, Kyler Murray’s number is $15M," the tweet reads. "He wants big time money to stick with baseball, otherwise he will enter the NFL draft tomorrow. The A’s are doing everything they can, sending their top brass, led by Billy Beane, to meet with him."

The deadline for Murray to enter the NFL Draft is Dec. 14 — tomorrow.

Leslie has also learned that the Oakland A's are prepared to keep Murray and "find a loophole."

Leslie sent a follow-up tweet: "Many responses to this saying MLB rules wouldn't allow for it. However, now reports indicate MLB is prepared help the A’s keep Murray & find a loophole. Also reports that the league’s marketing arm is trying to help sweeten the pot. Leverage & stardom are powerful drugs."

If the former Allen High School superstar — and recent Heisman Trophy winner as a quarterback at Oklahoma — forgoes both the NFL Draft and the offer from Oakland, he will likely continue his senior season at OU.
