Anti-immigrant propaganda found in quiet San Antonio neighborhood

Anti-immigrant flyers discovered in a Schertz neighborhood has sparked outrage among residents who disagree with the propaganda's message.

A controversial message found in the front yards of a quiet Schertz neighborhood sparked outrage on Monday.

Residents of Kramer Farm found a plastic bag filled with rocks and a message calling immigrants criminals.

The group spreading the flyers promoted the words "blood and soil," a Nazi rallying cry used to promote white supremacy ideology. Many residents are upset.

"Absolutely horrified," Joshua Nelson said.

KENS 5 found the flyer contained in a bag on the front lawn of a home on Hitch Road less than five minutes after arriving at the neighborhood. The flyer sparked outrage on a private community Facebook page for Cibolo-Schertz.

Nelson read one of more than 200 comments:

"I was sure hardly anyone would find this as gross as I do. I am very heartened to know there are so many people in my community who agree."

He says that he found out through Facebook that the flyers were tossed at homes less than five minutes from where he lives.

"It's disgusting and it doesn't have any place whatsoever in our community," Nelson said.

The message reads:

Report any and all illegal aliens.

They are not immigrants

They are criminals

"It goes against what, I believe, is America," Nelson said. “I mean yes, the law is specific but we are not the judges, we are not the court system, we are the people and we are supposed to love our neighbors.”

Many neighbors did not want to go on camera, but they said that the hateful message will not be tolerated in their community.

"There is no room for hate and propaganda anywhere," Nelson said. "Everyone pretty much agrees with me there is no place for it here at all."
