DALLAS —
A murder suspect surrendered to Dallas police after admitting he killed a man during a shooting Saturday night in East Dallas, according to police.
Demarcus Battson, 41, admitted to shooting 28-year-old Saquan Ross. the shooting happened around 8 p.m. on the 7000 block of Ferguson Road.
Police said Ross was shot multiple times and was taken to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
After Battson's surrender and confession, he was arrested and charged with murder. His bond is set at $100,000, jail records show.
