HURST, Texas —

A woman is uninjured and in jail after evading and being shot at by North Richland Hills Police Wednesday, according to a statement from North Richland Hills police.

Around 3:30 p.m. a Tarrant County Precinct 3 deputy tried to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation, and the driver, a white woman in a blue Hyundai sedan, tried to drive away. During the pursuit, the woman attempted to ram into the deputy's car twice, police said.

While the deputy and the police officers were trying to apprehend the woman, a North Richland Hills officer fired their service weapon. They didn't hit anyone.

After getting shot at, the woman drove away again.

She was later found at a Wells Fargo, on Precinct Line Road in Hurst, where police say she appeared to be skimming credit card information from the through ATM.

She was arrested and taken into custody without incident, police said, and is now in the Hurst jail.
