Fort Worth man sent to hospital after stabbing, police say

When officers got to the scene on Wednesday night, they found a man who had sustained stab wounds during what appeared to be an altercation, officials say.

FORT WORTH, Texas — Investigators are looking into what led up to a recent stabbing, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.

On Wednesday night, at a little before 11 o'clock, officers from Fort Worth police's Northwest Division were dispatched to an emergency call on the 2200 block of Ross Ave. regarding a reported cutting/stabbing incident. 

This address is located south of Meacham International Airport and northwest of Tarrant County College.

When officers got to the scene, they found a man who had sustained stab wounds during what appeared to be an altercation, officials said. Officers gave immediate medical assistance before the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment, police said.

As of Thursday morning, the status of this man was not known. Fort Worth police also didn't provide any details about any potential suspects.
