ARLINGTON, Texas — A man was found beaten to death outside an Arlington apartment complex early Friday morning, police say.
The Arlington Police Department responded to an apartment complex in the 2200 block of Blue Water Drive just before 12:30 a.m. to investigate reports of several people fighting.
When police arrived, they said they found a man lying unresponsive in the parking lot with severe blunt trauma to the head. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified him as 51-year-old Frank Kwasnica III.
Detectives believe two vehicles pulled up next to the victim in the parking lot, three people got out, started yelling at the victim, chased him, and began striking him with two large objects, according to a press release.
No arrests have been made, and police say they don’t have detailed descriptions of the suspects or the vehicles they drove off in.
