Wednesday's Child: 11-year-old Eden

11 year-old Eden also loves surprises. Wait till you see what we had waiting for him!

Eden is kindhearted, respectful and full of laughter.

The 11-year-old also loves surprises. Wait until you see what we had waiting for him!

This young boy has a permanent smile on his face! We asked him what makes him so happy. "Surprises!" he answered.

We took Eden to Legoland Discovery Center in Grapevine for an awesome day of building, rides and plenty of surprises.

His first surprise was a DVD. We gave him a new Avengers movie. You would have thought he won the lottery! "Thank you!" he yelled while adding how much he loves to watch movies.

Eden is the kind of kid who melts your heart. Everything is wonderful to him, and he makes you feel like the most special person in the room.

He has a lot of love for his Court Appointed Special advocate, Mr. Bill Howard.

"He is spectacular!" Eden said.

"Eden's a special child," Howard said. "Very loving person and caring, and it's been gratifying to see how much he has grown with just a little bit of attention."

Eden is on the autism spectrum. Howard says he needs a forever family who gives structure and encouragement. "A family I think that's stable, reliable and patient and loving," Howard said.

"Sharing is caring," Eden said after we asked him to name something he likes to do.

And lucky for Eden, Legoland Discovery Center was also in a very sharing mood. They presented Eden with a $500 shopping spree in their new retail store.

In true Eden fashion, he split the money four ways, so that his three foster brothers who were not a part of the taping could have the same toys too. Eden has a heart of gold, which is why this child deserves a very special Forever Family.

"It's great to see somebody develop like Eden has developed. That means a lot," Howard said.

His hope for Eden is that he finds happiness.

You must be licensed to adopt a child in Texas.
