DALLAS — Officials have reopened all northbound lanes near Forest Lane on the Dallas North Tollway after a deadly crash that troopers believe was caused by a suspected drunk driver early Friday morning.

Troopers were called to the scene of the crash near Forest Lane, shortly after 2:30 a.m. A Jeep Wrangler was heading northbound when the driver lost control and hit a concrete barrier. The driver of a black Nissan passing by pulled over to help. A white Subaru Legacy approaching the crash struck the Jeep, causing both vehicles to burst into flames.

One person died at the scene, while two others were sent to Parkland Hospital. Troopers said it's unclear at this time which people were inside each vehicle.

The driver of the white Subaru was taken into custody on a suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
