Janet Jackson to make stop in Fort Worth during summer leg of 'Together Again' tour

Hip-hop artist Nelly will also be joining her on the tour dates to perform his hits over the last two decades, Variety reported.

TEXAS, USA — Are you a part of the Rhythm Nation? And you live in Texas? Well, you're in luck because Janet Jackson just announced an extension of her "Together Again" tour and she's making two stops in Texas this summer.

If you're so excited you want to scream and are looking for a musical escapade, tickets will be available soon to see the five-time Grammy winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer perform this July in Fort Worth and Austin. The concerts are a part of a 35-date run across the United States.

Her Fort Worth stop will be July 25 at the Dickies Arena at 8 p.m. The Austin concert will be July 27 at the Moody Center at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased on the tour website.

According to an article from Variety, the "Together Again" tour celebrates Jackson's 50th anniversary in entertainment. It also honors anniversaries of some her most popular albums: 25 years of “The Velvet Rope,” 30 years of “janet,” and 35 years of “Rhythm Nation.”

Hip-hop artist Nelly will also be joining her on the tour dates to perform his hits over the last two decades, Variety reported.

For both Texas shows, presale tickets are available starting Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m., while general sales start on Friday, Jan. 19.
