IRVING, Texas — A wrong-way driver caused a crash on Texas 183 in Irving early Thursday morning, police said.
Irving dispatchers received a call around 4:40 a.m. from Fort Worth police about a driver heading eastbound in the westbound lanes on 183. While officers responded to the report, the wrong-way driver crashed into another vehicle near the Valley View Lane exit, according to a police news release.
Both drivers were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
