FARMERSVILLE, Texas — Collin County officials say a pedestrian was killed after being hit by a vehicle off County Road 615 in Farmersville Thursday morning. The driver called 911 and told dispatchers he’d run over his father, deputies say.
Deputies were dispatched to the crash shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday and say the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. The driver who called 911 was taken into custody pending further investigation, officials say.
