Motorcyclist killed in Woodall Rodgers tunnel crash in Dallas, officials say

DALLAS — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving an 18-wheeler and a Jeep in the Woodall Rodgers tunnel through downtown Dallas, officials said.

The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Woodall Rodgers at the Pearl Street exit, according to the Dallas County Sheriff's Office.

Officials said the motorcyclist hit an 18-wheeler and fell off. The motorcyclist was then hit by the Jeep and killed.

All drivers remained at the scene, and no one is facing charges, officials said.

All lanes of the highway were shut down as crews responded to the crash. The highway was reopened by morning rush hour.
