PLANO, Texas — A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a vehicle on Friday night in Plano, police said.
A person crossing Plano Parkway near Franc Drive was hit by a car travelling eastbound around 10:30 p.m., Plano police said.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Neither excessive speed or alcohol were likely factors in the crash, according to police.
Officials did not release any additional information about the victim.
