COLLEYVILLE, Texas — A 57-year-old man is jailed in the fatal stabbing of his wife at their home in Colleyville on Tuesday, police said.
Jason Hudiburg was arrested Tuesday after police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 6700 block of St. Moritz Parkway, off McDonwell School Road, according to a police news release.
When officers arrived, they found a female victim, Cathy Jones-Hudiburg, 57, unconscious on the kitchen floor with a stab wound. Two male family members were also in the house at the time and were detained by police. Paramedics responded, but Jones-Hudiburg died at the scene, police said.
Police conducted interviews and said Jason Hudiburg confessed to stabbing his wife.
He was taken into custody on a charge of murder and booked into the Tarrant County Jail, where his bond was set at $200,000.
Police were still investigating the incident late Tuesday. More information was not released.
