4 injured after trolley malfunction leads to fall from cliff at Eagle Mountain Lake, officials say

Briar-Reno Fire Chief Moses Druxman said the four, who were in a trolley designed to take people down the cliff, fell about 25 feet.

EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Texas — Four people were injured after a trolley they were in on the side of a cliff at Eagle Mountain Lake northwest of Fort Worth malfunctioned Saturday afternoon, the Briar-Reno Fire Department confirmed.

Briar-Reno Fire Chief Moses Druxman said the four, who were in a trolley designed to take people down the cliff, fell about 25 feet.

One person, an adult, has "life-threatening" injuries, and another adult and two minors have serious injuries, Druxman said. All were taken to an area hospital in Fort Worth.
