Prosper gas station fight started as road rage feud between two drivers, police say

No one died during the incident. Two people were arrested.

PROSPER, Texas — Three people were injured in a fight at a gas station that started as a road rage altercation between two drivers in Prosper on Sunday evening, police said.

Officers responded to a disturbance at the RaceTrac gas station at Texas 380 and Gee Road in Prosper.

When they arrived, they found three people who had lacerations "and other knife wounds," police said in an update Monday.

The three wounded people were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said officers learned that the fight started as a road rage altercation between two drivers. The drivers stopped at the gas station and a fight ensued.

Two people who were identified as the "aggressors" were arrested and booked into the Denton County jail after they were released from the hospital, police said. Both people face charges of assault causing bodily injury.

Their names have not been released. More information about the case was not released.
