DALLAS Jerry Brown Jr.'s mother was among several who took the stand as the sentencing phase of former Dallas Cowboy Josh Brent began Thursday morning.
Wednesday, Brent, 25, was found guilty of intoxicated manslaughter in the death of his friend and former teammater Brown.
