ROCKWALL COUNTY, Texas — A Rockwall man was convicted this month and sentenced to 25 years in state prison for aggravated sexual assault of a child, the Rockwall County District Attorney announced Thursday.

Jurors heard testimony that Sirvictor Lejean Parson, 42, sexually abused his girlfriend’s minor daughter multiple times when she was 13 and 14 years old, officials said. The abuse came to light in March 2023 when the child finally disclosed to friends and family and an adult family member called 911, the DA said in a press release.

The Fate Department of Public Safety responded to the residence, and Detective Caleb Pippin led the investigation. Multiple children were forensically interviewed at the Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County (CAC), the DA said.

Jurors heard testimony from the child victim, who is now 15 years old. She told jurors about multiple acts of molestation, as well as being provided marijuana and tobacco. She also said he molested her while taking car rides to the store, according to officials. Another girl testified in the trial, a 14-year-old, who told jurors, in the summer of 2022, Parson touched her sexually as well. Parson is also indicted for that offense, according to the DA.

“This fifteen-year-old very bravely came to court and recounted the multiple acts of abuse she suffered at the hands of Sirvictor Parson,” said Assistant District Attorney Justin Almand.  “I am thankful the jurors diligently considered the evidence and held Parson accountable.”

“This is yet another incident of a sexual predator who groomed his young victim before secretly and repeatedly abusing her in the sanctity of her own home,” said Rockwall County District Attorney Kenda Culpepper.  “I know it’s a difficult conversation, but parents must have the courage to talk to their kids about these dangers now and also ensure that children can confide concerns to a trusted adult.”

According to the district attorney, Parson has a criminal record out of Dallas County, including convictions for deadly conduct, unlawful possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and burglary of a habitation. He was sentenced in 2005 to eight years in prison for the drug and burglary charges.
