CEDAR HILL, Texas — Cedar Hill police say three people suspected of robbing an ATM and leading police on a chase in a stolen vehicle Friday were arrested.

Police were called to a Bank of America in the 100 block of W. Belt Line Road around 10:30 a.m. Friday after a caller reported being robbed by two men in masks while servicing an ATM, police say.

The suspects stole more than $300,000, and the caller said they fled the scene in a black SUV, according to police.

Duncanville police saw the vehicle and chased it, but the suspects were able to get away, officials say.

The suspects stole a second vehicle from a person getting into a car near the intersection of Highway 67 and Cockrell Hill Road in Duncanville, police say.

Police chased that vehicle, and during the pursuit, the suspects hit an unmarked Duncanville police vehicle, then got into another crash that left the vehicle undrivable, officials say.

Two suspects ran and were arrested near the crash site, and a third suspect was found in a backyard nearby and also arrested, police say.

Two of the suspects and a civilian were taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries sustained in the crash, according to police.

Police say they aren’t releasing the names of the suspects because of a related, ongoing investigation.
