The latest incident occurred on April 9 in the 600 block of Coit Road in Plano.

PLANO, Texas — A man wanted in connection with several unprovoked hammer attacks across North Texas has been arrested, Plano police announced Thursday morning.

The man's name has not been released by authorities yet.

The arrest comes after the Plano Police Department released images of him Wednesday evening related to an attack in the 600 block of Coit Road around 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

The department didn't provide additional details about the other attacks. It's unclear why the suspect targeted his victims.
