A Forney man accused of sexually assaulting a girl after offering her a ride earlier this week now faces charges of indecency with a child, involving a different girl.
Billy A. Williams, 36, is being held in the Dallas County Jail.
Investigators on Thursday obtained two additional warrants, accusing him of indecency with a child. The charges are out of Kaufman County and stem from the outcry of another victim who saw news reports of Williams' arrest in the sexual assault case in Mesquite, according to Mesquite police.
The victim in the indecency case knew Williams through youth sports, where he regularly participated as a referee, coach and personal trainer, specifically in track and basketball, police said in a news release.
In the Mesquite sexual assault, Williams offered a 14-year-old girl a ride near the intersection of North Galloway and North Town East avenues because it was cold outside, an arrest warrant affidavit said. He then drove the girl to school, where he sexually assaulted her in the parking lot, according to the affidavit.
Investigators believe Williams has approached other females in a similar way, the police news release said. Police have asked anyone who believes that Williams made inappropriate or sexual contact with them to call investigators at 972-285-6336.
