Missing Plano woman found dead inside her car at Frisco apartment complex, police say

WFAA journalists saw medical examiners loading a body into a van at the scene on Monday.

PLANO, Texas — The body of a 43-year-old Plano woman who'd been missing for more than a week has been found in Frisco.

Kylie Doyle was found dead Monday at about 10:15 a.m. inside her car parked at an apartment complex in the 9300 block of Wade Boulevard, Frisco police confirmed in a news release.

Neighbors said the car -- a black Hyundai Elantra bearing the same license plate number and bumper sticker as seen in pictures released by police last week -- had been parked in the lot for "a while."

The cause of death is unknown at this time, but Frisco PD said "there were no obvious signs of foul play."

Doyle was last seen leaving Lebanon Trail High School in Frisco at around 11:40 a.m. on April 19, police said in a news release. Her husband reported her missing the next day when she didn't return to work or home.

Doyle, who works as a teacher's aide, was last seen in surveillance footage shared by Plano PD wearing dark pants, a white shirt and a gray zippered jacket.

Lebanon Trail High School sent a letter to parents and staff saying in part "In the coming days, we will have extra counseling staff on campus to support staff and students. If you are having a hard time, please let us know—we are in this together."

Although Frisco PD are calling this case an "unattended death" the department said this is still an active investigation.
