Man shot, killed outside Fort Worth restaurant, police say

Officers responded to the shooting in the 6700 block of Bridge Street at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

FORT WORTH, Texas — One person was killed after a shooting outside a Fort Worth restaurant Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

Officers responded to the shooting around 3:30 p.m. in the 6700 block of Bridge Street near the Los Aibertos restaurant. When they arrived, they discovered a man had been shot in his stomach. The victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives say the verbal altercation with three people that led up to the gunfire. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and fired multiple rounds striking the victim.

Witnesses say the suspects left before the police arrived. No arrests have been made.

FWPD says the investigation is ongoing as they are pursuing several leads in the case.
