Driver wanted in Dallas hit-and-run that killed woman, police say

Police say Antonette Logan died after she was hit by a dark red Chevorlet Trax on Oct. 22.

DALLAS — Dallas police are asking for tips to find the driver of a hit-and-run crash that killed a woman in October.

According to police, the incident happened at about 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 22, around the 500 block of Buckner Boulevard. 

Officials said the driver was traveling south on Buckner when they struck a pedestrian, then left the scene without helping the victim. The suspect vehicle reportedly went east on Elam Road after hitting the victim.

Police identified the pedestrian as 37-year-old Antonette Logan. Officials said she died from her injuries.

Dallas police released security photos of the suspect vehicle. It's described as a maroon or dark red 2014 to 2016 Chevrolet Trax.
