Dallas police looking for shooter in suspected Wednesday morning homicide

Police said they found 37-year-old Christopher Franklin, a black man, dead from multiple gunshot wounds inside an apartment.

DALLAS — Dallas Police are looking for the shooter in a suspected homicide that happened in an apartment complex near Lake Cliff Park early Wednesday morning.

Police responded to an active shooter call at 722 North Marsalis Avenue around 4:35 a.m. Police said they found 37-year-old Christopher Franklin, a black man, dead from multiple gunshot wounds inside an apartment.

No more information is known at this time.
