DALLAS — A 26-year-old man was shot and killed Wednesday morning in east Oak Cliff near the Dallas Zoo, according to police.
Officers responded to a shooting call around 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, April 17. Dallas Police found Datwon Giddings laying on the ground with a gunshot wound in the 800 block of East 12th Street, police said.
Giddings died at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing and will be referred to a grand jury, police said. Additional details of the shooting were not immediately available.
