Club shooting leaves one dead in far east Fort Worth

A 34-year-old man was shot to death Sunday morning at an adult entertainment club, authorities said.

<p>A 30-year-old man was fatally shot at a club on the 11000 block of South Pipeline Road in Fort Worth.</p>

A 34-year-old man was shot to death Sunday morning at an adult entertainment club, authorities said.

The victim has been identified as Nicolas Jackson, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s website on Sunday. A hometown for Jackson was not available.

Jackson was pronounced dead at 4:18 a.m.

The incident occurred in the 11000 block of South Pipeline Road, at an adult entertainment club, according the police incident report. The name of the club was not released.

Police responded to a report of a shooting at about 3:38 a.m., said Tamara Valle, Fort Worth Police spokeswoman. A preliminary police report indicated that two shots were fired and a man was found on the ground with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to the Texas Health Harris Methodist Hurst-Euless-Bedford hospital, Medstar spokesman Matt Zavadsky said.

The victim died at the hospital, Valle said.

No one had been arrested.

Police did not release any other details of the shooting.
