Cedar Hill police have increased patrols around a city park and public pools after a 13-year-old boy reported a man exposed himself behind the restrooms.

The exposure was reported Thursday at Crawford Park in the 400 block of Straus Road. Officers are searching for the suspect.

The teenager reported that a man repeatedly asked to meet him behind the restrooms. The teen didn't know why the man kept asking and went behind the restrooms, police said.

The man exposed himself to the teen, Cedar Hill police said.

The boy told the man he was calling police, and the man fled on foot, officials said.

Police said the man is described as wearing a green polo shirt, gray shorts and sandals.
