Monday January 14
Ready for the rest? Then, ooh-la-la and cheers: Modern Luxury Dallas features their “Best of the City” issue, including “best drink” concocted by The French Room at the historic Hotel Adolphus. Bestselling author Brad Meltzer returns to GMT to preview his latest novel, “The First Conspiracy: The Secret Plot to Kill George Washington”. He was a member of the boy band NSYNC, and later a runner up on “Dancing with the Stars” -- Joey Fatone checks in. Then, look inside a special exhibition, Let Me Be Myself: The Life Story of Anne Frank, at the Dallas Holocaust Museum. It features the U.S. premiere of a cutting edge, virtual reality component that allows visitors to travel back in time to the young girl’s "Secret Annex." GMT’s Paige McCoy-Smith previews the one-of-a-kind experience, inside the world in which Anne Frank lived: in the shadows of genocide and war.
