Post Malone to feature on first track of Taylor Swift's upcoming album

On the track list, the first song entitled "Fortnight" will feature the Grapevine native rapper.

GRAPEVINE, Texas — While accepting the Grammy for best pop vocal album, Taylor Swift said she’d been keeping a secret for two years: A brand new album dropping in April.

The Tortured Poets Department will release on April 19, and a notable Texas-based artist kicks off the whole thing. Grapevine native Post Malone is a feature on the album's opening track, entitled "Fortnight." The full track list can be seen on a black-and-white image posted to Swift's Instagram account

The only other feature listed on the album's track list is Florence + the Machine on the song “Florida!!!”

This will be Swift's 11th studio album, not counting her re-recordings.

The album's announcement came amid Swift's Eras Tour, which continues this week in Tokyo. The duo won't only appear on this upcoming album together, but also at Sunday's Super Bowl.  She still will be able to make it back to the U.S. later in the week to catch her boyfriend Travis Kelce play.

Posty, on the other hand, will be in attendance to perform "America the Beautiful."

Malone was very complimentary of working with Swift on "Fortnight" in a conversation with Apple Music.

"[Taylor is] amazing," Malone said. "It's really nice. She's so sweet."

Swift apparently keeps her works close to the vest, too. In his conversation with Apple Music, Malone revealed he has not heard the song he's featured on.

"I can’t wait to hear it,” said Apple Music's Zane Lowe.

Malone replied, “Oh, me too.”
