Celebrate responsibly (for free)! DART providing free transportation on New Year's Eve

Coors Light is continuing its Free Rides program with DART, helping people travel responsibly as they ring in the new year.

DALLAS — If you're planning to kick off the new year with a bang, there are ways for you to do it responsibly.

DART is continuing its partnership with Coors Light to provide a Free Rides program for New Year's Eve. The program will run from 6 p.m. on Dec. 31 until the end of service.

Free rides will be available for all buses, trains, Paratransit Services and the TRE between EBJ Union Station and CentrePort/DFW Airport Station. No passes or coupons will be required.

“As we usher in the new year, we encourage everyone to celebrate responsibly by taking advantage of the free transportation offered through our partnership with DART,” said Michael Nordman, Molson Coors senior manager of community affairs.

DART Rail will add extra departure times for the evening to go with their usual weekend schedules. You can check those final times online.

The TRE's last trains will leave EBJ Union Station at 11:30 p.m. to Fort Worth and to West Irving Station at 12:50 a.m.

The Dallas Streetcar will continue at 20-minute intervals, with the last trip leaving EBJ Union Station at 12:50 a.m. and Bishop Arts at 1:09 a.m., arriving at EBJ Union Station at 1:20 a.m.

DART Buses and Paratransit Services will end services at their normal weekend times.
