FRISCO, Texas — The Academy of Country Music Awards are coming to The Star in Frisco on May 11. And now we know who will be performing, and the list includes host Dolly Parton.
Dolly, who is co-hosting the awards show with Garth Brooks, is expected to close out the show by premiering a new song from her forthcoming rock album, according to a press release from the ACMs on Thursday morning.
Jason Aldean, Luke Combs and Texas natives Miranda Lambert and Cody Johnson also headline the country stars performing at the awards show.
The release from the ACMS on Thursday did not list Brooks as a performer, though he'll obviously play a large role in the show as co-host.
The awards show will air live from the Ford Center at The Star on May 11, starting at 6 p.m. Central Standard Time.
